Staycation at Hotel G: Essentially S$45++ Per Night Per Person
With traveling out of the question, a staycation is the next closest thing you’ll feel to having a holiday. Some of the hotels have yet to open up for staycations as they continue to be dedicated facilities for individuals serving stay home notices. Good news, G Hotel along Middle Road (within walking distance to Bugis / Bencoolen / Rochor / Dhoby Ghaut MRT stations) is ready to take in guests looking to let their hair down.

From $140++, the package comes with a stay in a king-bedded “Good Room” with $50 credit to spend at Ginett Restaurant & Wine Bar, known for its French fare and extremely affordable and well-stocked wine (tip: make a reservation for the restaurant ahead of your scheduled staycation – it was full the night we were there). It also includes a simple breakfast for two, early check-in, late check-out, free parking coupons, and a complimentary bottle of wine, which we brought down to Ginett to accompany our dinner (at no additional charge). As reflected in the title of this piece, the “Glam Your Grams” staycation package costs only S$45++ per night per guestessentially, assuming the stay is for two adults, and taking into account the F&B credit.
The rooms range from 11 to 13 sqm. While not spacious, it was sufficiently big to comfortably up and take your well-deserved breaks (we were accompanied by Harry Potter and friends on the TV – contented).
